Have not posted some stuff in a while and I like to keep the blog updated frequently. Just posting some of the orders that we have just finished or currently working on. Some are concepts, will try to post some more soon of the finished pieces.
At Paper Damsels, we try to keep up with all the trends happening in the stationery world. Laser Cutting has been around for a bit of time but has recently become popular in wedding invitations. We can laser cut the most intricate details into paper and create a variety of options. Below is some projects that we have worked on.
As mentioned in previous posts, every year I attend the National Stationery Show in NYC and look for new vendors and suppliers to bring on board. It’s nice to offer new items to our clients and see what the new trends are in invitations and stationery. I picked up about 6 new suppliers and the products are slowly arriving 🙂
This particular supplier offers paper choices and pockets, envelopes that we would create custom work with. Here is some examples.
Thought I would share just a few our favourite wedding monograms that we have created in the past. We are always adding to our library. We currently offer close to 180 monograms so we hope that there is one suited for everyone. We will also create one based on your request if you don’t fall in love with any of them.
This is a letterpress invitation design, inspired by a champagne label.
This invite is a laser cut invitation, the client wanted an art deco theme so we laser cut the front of the invitation and mounted a tangelo backer so it shined through the laser cutting design. We also had the inside printed with the wedding info and created a detachable RSVP cardThe above were some more letterpress custom invitations
Our reverse pockets which are always popular!

Love this style shoot, it is featured in the summer issue of Elegant Wedding Magazine. It was fun to come up with the stationary concepts, Paper Damsels created all the stationery from the invitations down to the labels for the candy jars and the “love is sweet” banner. If you are looking for beautiful stuff be sure to pick up the actual magazine. Thanks to Rachel A Clingen for coming up with this great theme!
Paper Damsels has the pleasure of working with the talented Andy Ribau that manufactures our Custom Designed Letterpress invitations. He created a video to showcase the work that goes into creating these beautiful invitations. He is great at what he does and also provides other items such as Foil Stamping, Embossing, Die cutting. If you are looking for a unique invitation or even other items such as business cards and stationery Paper Damsels can help you make that perfect impression.
